Super Fun School Visits!
As an author and educator with over 15 years of teaching experience in higher education, including three years teaching ESL in China, I love connecting with students. It is by far my favorite part of being an author! My talks focus on my writing journey and hopefully inspire your students to start/continue their own journeys, answering student questions, discuss themes in my books such as grief, comedy, and of course love! I’m bi-coastal and spend most of the year in the New York City area with summers in Central California, but am available to travel out of state and internationally to speak to students.

Virtual Author Visit
Virtual author visits are a fun and convenient way for your students to meet me. These are very similar to my in-person visits, except instead of a book signing, I will mail the class some signed bookplates. I offer different options depending on needs.

In-Person School Visits
My in-person presentations are great for grades 7-12, whereI talk about my writing journey, students can ask questions, be inspired to find their voices, and they get their books signed! I also discuss diversity, craft, stuttering, being a Third Culture Kid, and how fun it is to write fan fiction and cosplay!

Writer-in-Residence Visit
In this kind of in-person visit, I will be coming to your institution over a period longer than one day, with multiple presentations sometimes in different locations, including craft based workshops, which is much more involved than my regular in-person school visits.
